In this movie, Captain Jack, Barbossa, and Will-Turner belong to Caribbean society (lower class society).

On the other hand, Elizabeth Swann, Governor Sawann, and James Norrington belong to a higher-class society; they live in Port Royal. “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” This movie is an American English movie, so every character should use standard American English, but in this movie, class distinctions are visible. That’s why lower-class societies’ languages are different from higher-class societies’ languages.

In this movie, language variations are visible. In addition, Governor Sawann is a powerful man and belongs to a higher-class society. In this movie, he uses standard American language. As a girl, Elizabeth Swann delivered her dialogue in a soft tone. In this term paper, we are trying to identify the language style usages of the characters in this movie from a sociolinguistics and language variation perspective.

This paper explores modernism and selected children’s books from the modernist period. Two of the most widely known children’s books published in the said era, namely The Velveteen Rabbit and The Tale of Peter Rabbit, authored by Margery Williams and Beatrix Potter, respectively, were picked and analyzed to detect traces of modern literature. This study finds out the major problems related to the progress of industry and recommends several ways to solve these problems. Students’ suggestions are also an important part of this survey to understand the current situation of the film industry and improve the drawbacks. Good content quality, creative stories, innovative ideas, and avoiding vulgarity and repetitiveness can lead the Bangladeshi film industry to a high-performing and competitive level.
